Mammoth Bumblebee

This year the seeds I planted came up despite the large amounts of rain we had in Missouri this Spring. The garden is buzzing with hummingbirds, bumble bees, honey bees, dragonflies, and many species of butterflies and moths. Since it is such a rainy day today, I thought I would look go through some of my photos from this summer, and thought I would share this one. This bumblebee is about 2 inches long.
