This summer I found a piece of shaggy bark hickory bark on the ground that spoke to me. It looked like a garden stake or marker (see marker below that labelled Straw Flower) I found a waterproof paint pen and more bark and decided to use bark this year to mark my garden. Even with all the rain, the markers are really holding up and look great and rustic too! This is a new tradition for my garden for sure.
