Cold Weather Flowers

Two of may favorite cold weather flowers are snow anemone and the pansy. The snow anemone is a perennial and most pansies need to be planted every year, but some varieties will come back in spring. In St. Louis August heat usually does the pansy plant in - and new plants need to be planted in the fall. I love looking at these flowers in the winter.
